Concept & Narrative
We created the art direction and visual identity for Walmer Music’s latest surrealist music video, merging dreamlike imagery with cinematic photography to bring his experimental sound to life.
The project was a collaboration with Walmer Music to design the photographic language and visual world of a surrealist music video. The goal was to visually interpret the emotional and atmospheric tones of the track using unconventional settings, symbolic lighting, and layered narratives. Our role spanned from concept development and storyboarding to the on-set direction of photography and post-processing color grading.
Concept & Narrative

The concept revolves around a character trapped between realities—walking through mirrors, floating in timeless rooms, and dissolving into nature. We crafted a visual narrative that invites the viewer to feel rather than understand, embracing ambiguity and emotional resonance.

The visual tone is guided by high-contrast lighting, slow-motion captures, and optical illusions. We used vintage lenses to add distortion and blur, creating a sense of movement within stillness. Colors shift between desaturated and iridescent to represent inner transformation.

Wardrobe was minimalist and textured—loose silhouettes in monochrome tones—while sets combined decaying architecture with surreal props (like levitating stones or melting clocks), reinforcing the sense of temporal dissonance.
